Our poor sick boy.....
Wednesday after the sprinkler episode Dillon was playing with his water-sand table and shook like he was having a seizure. Then he did it again. He was totally coherent and didn't even spill any of the water he was pouring. Obviously not seizures. So I brought him in and took his temperature. His temperature was over 103!! So the shaking was chills (I'm guessing). I treated the fever and he seemed okay. Thursday he still had the fever with a bit of a nasty sounding cough that kept us up most of Wednesday night so I made an appointment to see the pediatrician. Well, a couple of hours before the appointment he was fine, running around playing in the yard. So I canceled the appointment. Thursday night, again no sleep. Friday-definitely going to the dr. As it turns out it is nothing, as I thought but couldn't bear the thought of him having something I was ignoring. The dr. said Robitussin at night to stop the cough and tylenol and ibuprofen for the fever and he'll be fine. So we are still treating the fever, hopefully that will pass soon. I would like to give him the Robitussin again tonight but I'm not sure I will ever get him to take that horrible tasting stuff again! We may have to try honey. I'm sure the cough and fever will be gone as quickly as they came! On a good note, he weighed 27 lbs 1 oz. The lady that weighed him checked the scale because she couldn't believe he weighed that much! He weighed 23 lbs in March.
The sprinkler....
Here are some pictures from Wednesday. Warm weather is back. Hannah and Chloe like the sprinkler but Dillon is another story. He is such a "fish" in the bathtub but anything else he is not too sure of. He has a water/sand table on our porch that he is okay with but it is a major crisis if sand gets stuck to his wet hands.

Chloe trying to help Dillon see that the sprinkler is "fun".

Chloe giving it another try.

Wordless Wednesday...
Our yard. Not our cows. The girls loved this. The cows were actually Darr's father and uncles and were welcome guests! It seems they were out for a stroll. One of those cows is still with us. In the freezer. Okay, not so wordless!

Wow, it's hot.....
Today is our fourth day in the 90's. Better weather is on its way though. Braedyn, the Bernese Mountain dog, is not taking this heat very well. He keeps wanting to go out. He's probably thinking it can't be as hot as the last time he went out. So I have him laying on our bedroom floor in the air conditioning. Dillon is "passed out" in his crib happily napping.

Favorite Foto Friday
A lot of people with blogs do a Favorite Foto Friday. Each week there is a theme and last weeks was pajama party. So here is our first FFF (a bit late):
This was on our pick up trip, before we knew how well he sleeps in his crib.
