Arlington Covered Bridge...

After playing at the Kelly Stand we stopped by the Arlington Covered Bridge for some swimming. Hannah was the only one who actually went swimming. The water was pretty cold. Chloe and Dillon played on the shore.

Kelly Stand....

We took the kids to the Kelly Stand which they LOVE. It is actually a road with the river running down along side it over large rocks. We had a picnic and threw stones.

Dillon's bed....

One morning I went to get Dillon out of bed and he had "made" his bed. What a good boy :)

Chickies....

Here are our chickies in their "new" living quarters. Soon they will be free to roam (when they can fly well enough to get away from the dogs). We started with 36. One died as a very young baby and a few have gone to the woods, never to be seen again. Oh, except for 1 Darr "found" when mowing the lawn. Whatever "got" him didn't like his wings. My guess is now we have about 27. These pictures were taken about 2 weeks ago, so they are even bigger now.

4th of July videos....

These videos aren't the best, but are funny. Dillon screamed with excitement at EVERY firetruck. Then he did a little "stroller dancing". The final video is the annual golf cart ride, which the kids absolutely LOVE. Soon Darr's cousin is coming to the area with her 2 sons, so Darr's uncle Butch has offered to take all the little boys (and girls if they want) to the firehouse to see the firetrucks!! Dillon will be soooo excited. We really are lucky to have such great family and friends :)

4th of July pictures......

All went great yesterday. Dillon LOVED the parade. He screamed every time he saw an ambulance and firetruck. Then all the kids played great at Gramie and Grampies house. The rain held off until the middle of the fireworks, but it didn't seem to bother the kids. Dillon played so good with Gabriel, Isaac (cousins) and Chase (our friends son). It's so fun to watch how the boys interact with each other....I'm so use to the girls! Chloe and Hannah had a great time as well playing with Ida (cousin), Charity and Mikayah (friends). I must mention babies Grace and Quentin, they too appeared to have as much fun as 4 month olds can :)

Happy 4th of July.....

Today we are heading to the annual parade here in town. Then after that a fun, family BBQ at Darr's parents' house. The fire department puts on a fireworks show around 9:30 tonight and it just happens to be (basically) in the backyard. So, it's the perfect spot....BBQ, kids play, then fireworks without even leaving! I plan on getting a picture of the kids before the parade like last year. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.
