Favorite Foto Friday

This favorite foto Friday's theme is "summer lovin".

The girls love this kiddie pool. I never would have guessed. I will say they like Meme and Papa's in-ground pool better!

Dillon on the other hand is very unsure of this little pool. He is such a fish in the tub, but is so leery of water anywhere else (except for the kitchen sink).

Dinner with Dolly

Wednesday night we had Dolly (Darr's grandmother) over for dinner. The kids were so excited to share their reading abilities with her. Hannah explained and read her WHOLE journal from kindergarten. Chloe read her report about the Scarlet Macaw and Dillon shared his favorite truck book. Then we enjoyed dinner.

Last day of School!!!!

Today is the last day of school for the girls. I do think Chloe is a bit more thrilled then she is letting on in this picture. Also I'm not sure why she couldn't stand up straight:( Now my life gets busy!! We have vacation bible school, lunch 'n learn, swimming lesson, etc. All great programs we are lucky to have.

Dillon's Second Birthday Party...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DILLON!!!
On Saturday we celebrated Dillon's second birthday. The "usual" party group was here except Dillon's true love, McKenna (his cousin). McKenna's brother was having his high school graduation party. Dillon didn't understand how to open presents at first, but a little help from the girls and he quickly learned how.
The kids all love these exercise balls. One just wasn't enough.

Yes, this is the kid that is an extremely picky eater, eating a birthday present!

This wagon provides so much fun. That and a sprinkler and you have a successful party!

A meeting of the minds. God help us!!!

More fun with the sprinkler.

I have no idea what was said to these girls to get this type of reaction. Perhaps they were asked to do something?????

Yeah!! Papa made it in time for the party!

Present time! Dillon got lots of help from his sisters, friends and cousins.

Dillon looking for more presents. Like he needed anymore!!

Time for cake.
Dillon hates cake. He preferred watermelon and strawberries. He couldn't believe we would even put cake on his tray!

Hannah and cousin Mattison sharing a moment.

Dillon getting some lawn work done with his new lawn mower. It had gotten too hot for a shirt!

Dillon in his new Sponge Bob pajamas playing with his new helicopter.

Girl Scout Banquet

Tonight the girls had the closing ceremony for Girl Scouts. Chloe is a Brownie and will be next year if she continues. Hannah is a Daisy Scout, which she will be next year if she continues. I must apologize to all of those in attendance for Dillon. He certainly enjoyed himself. After Chloe and Hannahs parts, Darr took Dillon away. We took some pictures, but they are all group pictures and I don't have permission to post. The ceremony was very nice, especially after Dillon left!!!

Field Days

Chloe and Hannah have "Field Days" at school this week. Yesterday (Monday) was Hannah's day. I went. Took many pictures. Came home and accidentally deleted ALL of them. I was sooooo mad. Today was Chloe's day. I went. Took many pictures. Came home and successfully put them on the computer. There were a variety of fun games. The kids had a great time. So here are a few pictures from today's events.

Darr, Chloe and Charity getting ready for the "blindfold maze".
Chloe and Charity
Chloe playing a ball-scooter game
Chloe doing a relay race that involved getting dressed and undressed in too big clothes.
Chloe and Charity after the "sponge game".

After field days I went and had lunch with Chloe. While I was there I took a picture of Hannah and Ida who were just finishing up lunch.

Dillon seems to be getting better. He doesn't seem to be eating a whole lot, but I think his throat may still be sore. His cough is much less, however his nose is now running! Poor boy can't win. I didn't bring him to field days either day because it really wouldn't be much fun for him. He would've been in the stroller for 2 hours. Not his idea of fun. Even sick, he likes to be on the go. Plus he is having a few more tantrums than normal!
Tonight we are off to the Girl Scout "end of the year banquet". Dillon will be a "big" hit there I bet!!!
