Reward time part 2.....and then some...

It was Chloe's turn to make dinner, so Friday she was the chef. She made spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were homemade and she did it all on her own. Well, I helped just a bit with measuring :) She also made brownies. Meme and Papa came over to enjoy the feast.

After dinner me and Hannah were off to a Halloween Party at school. Chloe didn't want to go and it was too close to Dillon's bedtime. Also it gave Hannah some "Mom time". So when Hannah put on her cat costume Dillon wanted to put on his Big Bird costume. I have only gotten him to put it on one other time and that was for about 10 seconds. This time he left it on for maybe 5 minutes. We may stick with my idea of him being a taxidermist for Halloween and just carry the costume. We met at Holly and Ida's house and walked on over to the party. They had a good time. Lots of crafts and games to play. The bonus was a bag of candy when when we left.

Our handsome boy ready to terrorize church, or a birthday party as he calls it. No idea why.

Two out of three ready for church. Guess who refused to be in the picture??

Our pumpkin carving has been postponed until tomorrow after school. I planned on doing it today (Sunday) but by the time we got home from Sunday school, got some "stuff" done around the house, it was lunch time. After lunch Dillon takes a nap, then we head over to Meme and Papa's house. The kids CAN'T wait to get there. Especially on a "Nenna" weekend. McKenna is my niece who is there (actually with my brother and sister in law) two out of three weekends. She is twelve, but still loves to spend time with her "little" cousins (or at least she pretends to :)I'm so glad they are close to her. Growing up I had a cousin who I was close to (until she moved in 5th grade). Darr has one niece, Ida, who is in first grade (different teacher though) with Hannah. They are great little buddies. It's nice to have family that lives close by to spend time with, especially the kids.

Looks like she made a delicious meal!! I can't wait until my girls are old enough for me to cook with! For now we just do cookies!
