No, actually this is Chloe's costume (minus the ears and tail) for Odyssey of the Mind. She is a tiger.

Swimming in February ???
Yesterday, Thursday, Darr took his RN exam in Albany. We decided that it would be fun for the kids (who are on vacation from school this week) to stay in a hotel....with a pool. We checked in and headed for the pool. After that we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, which was really good. We all decided to bring our desert back to the hotel with us. We each picked a slice of our favorite cheesecake. There were lots to choose from!
Bright and early, Darr and girls went to the lobby for breakfast (they brought it back to the room). Then Darr went and took his exam. The exam site was in the next building over, so Darr didn't have to go far. While he was taking the exam I took the kids swimming. Dillon was able to help Fred, the maintenance man, take care of the pool and hot tub. Lucky Fred. Dillon sang to him the whole time. Fred seemed to enjoy it.
Darr was only gone about an hour. He finds out if he passed on Saturday (which won't come soon enough....Good luck MarC, your day is coming soon).
On Saturday the girls have ZUMBA class, which they are really looking forward to. Chloe has Odyssey of the Mind today and tomorrow AND Hannah wants to go roller skating again. Also on Saturday when Darr gets home from work, and knows he has passed his exam :) we he will be packing up ALL of the nursing books that have been on the living room floor for the last (almost)THREE years. I can't wait. (Again MarC, your day is coming soon).
Monday Hannah starts play rehearsal. Little League sign up this weekend and next as well. I'm not sure who is going to play.
Now for the pictures.
Dillon, jumping of course, on the couch in our room. Chloe and Hannah's pull out bed. And yes his bathingsuit is on backwards.
The pool:
***No, he didn't throw that in the pool :)***

The Fun Spot....
Today we went to the Fun Spot. When I was a kid it was called Skateland. Now it has more "fun things", so I guess that's why they changed the name. Anyway, Meme went along with us and we met our friends Theresa, Charity, Mikayah and Quinten. The girls all did a great job skating, much improved from the last time. Dillon tried to skate, but it just was not his thing. He did however spend hours in the bouncy houses....when he wasn't finding old candy in the lockers (I did NOT let him eat it). QT (Quinten) was even able to keep himself busy with a water bottle and straw. These boys are advanced if I do say so myself.
********************************
Last night we went out with Mark & Amy and their super cute kids Chase and Sydney. We all had a great dinner together. All the kids behaved so well. Dillon provided the entertainment by singing the Oompa Loompa Song.....many times :)

Tomorrow we are heading out to spend the night in a hotel. We're not going far, but the kids will get to go swimming while Darr is taking his RN state exam.

Happy Birthday Papa!!!
Yesterday we celebrated my father's birthday. We had a really good ice cream cake from the Ice Cream Man. Papa was so happy to have the whole family there, especially his grandkids, McKenna, Chloe, Hannah and Dillon. Dillon was even kind enough to blow out the candles. We were so happy Donna was able to make it.....a Pastors job is never done :)
Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon.
......................................
I hate not including a picture, so here it is. And yes, he did end up in the washer.

Olivia....
Saturday night we went to a benefit dinner at church for a sweet little girl named Olivia. Olivia is battling cancer. I'm so glad our community was able to come together for such a great cause. Thank you to everyone who helped.
In the picture is Olivia's mom, Pastor Donna, Olivia and I'm not sure who is holding her, maybe her grandfather.

Happy Valentine's Day.....
Every year Darr's parents send the kids and I beautiful flowers for Valentine's Day. We absolutely LOVE them and we thank you so much. The kids also love receiving their Valentine cards from Gramie, Grampie, Meme, Papa and Dolly. What kid doesn't love to get mail????
Thank you all.
Thank you all.
Now on to Jaggar. His little face just lit up when he saw those flowers. SO needless to say between Dillon and the kittens the flowers are up high!
